What I Thought About Zoom Teeth Whitening

Just a few days ago I went to the dentist office to get some work done and the kind dental assistant let me know about the Zoom teeth whitening process that they offered there. I figured I would give it a shot and write a review about it here. I’m so glad I went to the dentist office to get this done. I knew it would be done right and id I ran into any problems down the road I could easily get them solved by talking to my dentist.

It’s really amazing how many teeth whitening products have hit the market. Every company is trying to make money on this very lucrative market, but that also means there are some inferior products out there. But Zoom teeth whitening has stood the test of time and they have some of the best reviews written about them that I have seen. I also had friends who had Zoom done on them and they are very happy, as well as having nice, white teeth.

So what’s the process of Zoom whitening like? Well it was a longer ordeal that I had planned for. The whole thing took about an hour and a half but a lot of that is just prep time. The dental assistant had to open my mouth and put this brace in which would keep my lips open all around my teeth so the light would not burn them. It dries out your mouth really quickly so it’s not very comfortable. Also, it’s really hard to talk.

If you already have sensitive teeth then you should be ready to have some pain medication on hand. Before applying the Zoom light the dentist will put a gel on your teeth which will make your teeth a little porous. This helps the light to make your teeth brighter and faster. However, after a few hours you will notice your teeth are super sensitive to any hot or cold. In my case, just sitting on the couch was causing all kinds of pain in my mouth, so be prepared for that.

What were the results like? Well before they even started working on me at the dentist office they showed me a chart of what level my teeth were at currently. I was surprised to see how yellow they looked but I was able to get 5 shades brighter, and it only took 90 minutes. That was much better than trying the whitening stuff at the store and waiting for months to see if it even works.
